This course provides an introduction to the GHG Protocol as a framework; definitions of Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and typical areas where companies can work to reduce CO2 emissions.

Primary learning objectives:

• Understand the central concepts of emission measurement in the GHG protocol and the practical importance for companies

• Understand the three "emission scopes" and how these directly and indirectly affect companies

• Learn the basic principles for calculating CO2 emissions

The course runs on the Area9 Lyceum AI-based learning platform. The AI-based system enables us to verify learners' understanding of the content and issue diplomas for completion without additional exams.

Course duration: Approximately 30 minutes.

The course can be taken any time you want, at your own pace.
